CNN Fact Check Shows Biden Made Up Fake People to Support Jobs Plan

A CNN fact check concluded that President Joe Biden made up support for his jobs plan during recent comments in which he inferred he had the support of people who are no longer living.
Daniel Dale, who acts as a fact-checker for the far-left network, nailed Biden over comments he made last Wednesday about the support he claimed he had from former Federal Reserve chairs with regard to his proposed $2 trillion American Jobs Plan.
That plan would allocate $100 billion raised from increased taxes to help create jobs as part of a larger investment in the Democrats’ infrastructure plan, according to CNN.

But when touting its support last week, Biden was not truthful, according to Dale.

Per the CNN fact-checker, the president went as far as to claim he had support from people who are no longer living.

Biden claimed the last 5 leaders of the Fed spoke out to say his jobs plan will grow the economy. False. Only 3 past Fed chiefs are even alive. Biden was wrongly describing an op-ed from 5 former IRS chiefs, who praised his plan but didn’t discuss growth:

“President Joe Biden claimed last Wednesday that the last five leaders of the Federal Reserve had declared that his American Jobs Plan proposal will increase economic growth,” Dale noted.
    Dale then quoted Biden’s comments.

“And, by the way, you saw — you know, the — the last five leaders of the Fed coming out and saying — what’d they say? They said, ‘Biden’s plan is going to grow the economy,'” Biden said Wednesday.
The claim was so misleading that CNN intervened by targeting it.
“Biden’s claim is false. As a White House official acknowledged to CNN when we sought comment on Monday, Biden was inaccurately referring to an opinion article published in the Washington Post that day by five former leaders of the Internal Revenue Service, not five former leaders of the Federal Reserve,” wrote Dale.

Dale noted an obvious flaw in Biden’s statement: Only three former Federal Reserve chairs are still living.
“The former IRS commissioners did not say anything about how Biden’s plan would affect economic growth. Rather, they said Biden’s proposals — including a well-funded effort to crack down on the non-payment of taxes owed — would make the tax administration system ‘far fairer and more effective’ and ‘produce a great deal of revenue by reducing the enormous gap between taxes legally owed and taxes actually paid,'” Dale added.

Of former Federal Reserve chairs who are still living, Janet Yellen is now Biden’s Treasury Secretary, while former Fed Chair Ben Bernanke clarified in a statement to CNN that he had not endorsed Biden’s costly proposal.
“I have not made any public remarks on the infrastructure plan, so far as I can recall,” Bernanke said.

The only remaining former chair of the Fed, Alan Greenspan, has issued no public comments with which Biden could tout, and he did not respond to Dale’s request for comment.
CNN’s fact check on Biden’s claims hit him hard.
“Even if this was an accidental mix-up by Biden, it was a substantial mix-up. A positive economic forecast from former tax chiefs is almost certainly less likely to sound impressive to the public than a positive economic forecast from people who ran the US central bank and are among the nation’s best-known economic figures,” concluded Dale.
“And, again, there was no economic forecast at all in the tax chiefs’ article,” wrote the CNN fact-checker.

I wonder if he was actually admitting that 2 out of every 5 people who voted for him were no longer alive at the time that their ballots were cast?

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill

She herself has terrorist ties in her family. She walks, Talks and acts like a terrorist herself.

Ilhan Omar Ripped by Fellow Dem Over Support of Hamas Terrorists

The Democratic Party has a big, big anti-Semitism problem. You can concede nearly all criticisms hurled at the Trump-era Republican Party without ever undermining this glaring fact.
What does happen when we confront this undeniable problem among the high-profile members of the radical end of the Democratic Party, however, is the undermining of all claims as to the resemblance between Republican Party ideology and Naziism, that’s for sure.
To say nothing of the hard left’s relentless insistence that our nation’s history of systemic institutional racism — long since relegated to the past — is entirely inseparable from its founding philosophy.

After all, it was our founding philosophy that ultimately freed the slaves and ended segregation, and it was our commitment to the global pursuit of liberty that ended modern history’s most notorious anti-Semitic reign of terror in Nazi Germany.
There is a lot of room under the big tent of American bipartisanship (remember that?), but there is certainly no room for the same racist ideology that launched the Holocaust and that now rages against the nation of Israel — both from terrorist forces and from the governments of major Middle Eastern nations that make no secret of their determination to destroy the Jewish state.

This week, former New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind went absolutely scorched-earth on fellow Democrat Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, who has ignited more than one firestorm over the blatantly anti-Semitic comments that have peppered the entirety of her tenure in the U.S. Congress.
In response to Omar’s characterization of Israeli missile strikes in Gaza as an “act of terrorism” this week, amid heavy rocket fire from the Palestinians into Israel, the fiercely pro-Israel Hikind issued a scathing reply to this inflammatory suggestion.

“Israeli air strikes killing civilians in Gaza is an act of terrorism,” the squad member and House Progressive Caucus whip tweeted on Monday.
“Palestinians deserve protection,” she continued. “Unlike Israel, missile defense programs, such as Iron Dome, don’t exist to protect Palestinian civilians.”

Of course the "Iron Dome" doesn't protect people in the Palestinian side of the Gaza it is there to protect Israel from the on going rocket attacks from their enemies.

It cannot be overstated how insane it is for a sitting member of the U.S. Congress to defend a terrorist group that is attacking one of our close allies — and then to accuse this ally of terrorism for defending itself.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Hamas has attacked Israel with more than 600 rockets since Monday, including one barrage of 137 missiles in less than five minutes amid land disputes over territory in East Jerusalem that could evict a half-dozen Palestinian families. Many of these rocket attacks have slammed civilians, as the Israeli Defense Force made clear in a tweet:

    Israel Defense Forces

    @IDF

One of the 100s of rockets that were just fired from Gaza toward Tel Aviv and central Israel exploded on a civilian bus. Hamas’ intentions are clear: kill Israeli civilians. We won’t stand by and let this happen.

Omar is claiming that Palestine cannot defend itself — yet Hamas is certainly capable of acts of war against the Jewish state and in no uncertain terms invited the retaliation that has cost the lives of Palestinian civilians.

There is no moral high ground for Omar or any other apologists for the anti-Israeli insurgency.
So understandably, her outrageous comments were too much for Hikind, who replied with a video showing an armed Israeli police officer fend off stone-throwing rioters who The Times of Israel reported had been attacking a Jewish man who had wrecked his car after being targeted by the mob in Jerusalem on Monday.
“AND WHAT DO WE SEE IN THIS VIDEO, YOU DISINGENUOUS FAKER OF A ‘HUMANITARIAN’? HUH?” the former lawmaker replied to Omar’s tweet.
“A WALK IN THE PARK? OR A FREAKING LYNCHING!!! WHY ARE YOU SILENT ABOUT VIOLENCE AGAINST JEWS?!?!?! IS THAT BECAUSE NO JEW IS INNOCENT FOR YOU?!?!”
Hikind proceeded with a thread that gave a very different perspective to the violence in Israel from what Omar and the left-wing media would have you believe.
He followed this up by pointing to the fact that both Omar and the Palestinian terror group Hamas were trending on Twitter…together. “Need I say more?” Hikind said.

No. He need not say more.
Omar’s terrorist apologetics should not be tolerated in the Democratic Party — yet it seems that Hikind is one of the few willing to call her out with the bravado such a rebuke necessitates.

or those that have forgotten Omar was brought here and pushed into office by none other than the Gay Mulatto POTUS Obama!

    Biden BUILT this too!

BREAKING: Inflation SKYROCKETS To Highest Levels Since Great Recession, Follows Disastrous Jobs Report

President Joe Biden received further negative news Wednesday about the economic environment in the U.S. under his leadership as newly released numbers show that the economy is overheating and inflation is growing at an even higher rate than anticipated.
“Inflation accelerated at its fastest pace in more than 12 years for April as the U.S. economic recovery kicked into gear and energy prices jumped higher,” CNBC reported. “The Consumer Price Index, which measures a basket of goods as well as energy and housing costs, rose 4.2% from a year ago, compared to the Dow Jones estimate for a 3.6% increase. The monthly gain was 0.8%, against the expected 0.2%.”

The report sent the stock market tumbling shortly after it was released by the Department of Labor.
“Rising commodity markets, supply-chain blockages and hiring difficulties have prompted some investors to expect a prolonged upswing in consumer prices,” The Wall Street Journal reported. “That could lead the Federal Reserve to raise its target for short-term interest rates sooner than it has signaled, potentially weighing on stocks and other assets that have benefited from over a year of near-zero borrowing costs.”
The news comes less than a week after the Biden administration suffered a major setback when April’s jobs report showed that only 266,000 jobs were added to the economy, 700,000 less than had been projected.

The black unemployment rate increased, 18,000 manufacturing jobs were lost, no construction jobs were added, unemployment for Americans without any college education increased, and women had a net loss in jobs. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics said that nearly 10 million Americans, 9.8 million to be exact, remained unemployed in Biden’s economy.
News of last week’s abysmal job numbers was made even worse when the job numbers from March, which originally saw an estimated gain of 916,000 new jobs, had been revised down to 770,000 jobs, “meaning that the net number of people employed over the past month, relative to what was known just hours ago, was a mere 120,000,” Bloomberg News reported.
Biden struggled to respond to the jobs report, claiming that it proved that the economy was “moving in the right direction” and that it showed “we’re on the right track.”

Biden faced further negative news this week about conditions in the U.S. under his leadership when U.S. Customs and Border Protection released new numbers that showed that Biden’s border crisis worsened during the month of April.
CBP data published Tuesday showed that immigration arrests and detentions on the U.S.-Mexico shot up to in April at 178,622, a 3% increase from March, the highest in the history of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The media tried to spin the news as a bit of a win for the Biden administration because the surge in arrests of illegal aliens was driven in large part by single adults while the number of unaccompanied minors apprehended fell.

Gretchen Whitmer Orders Canadian Pipeline To Shut Down Amid Gas Shortage

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) has ordered a Canadian energy company to shut down an oil and gas pipeline that runs through the Straits of Mackinac, claiming the pipeline is a “ticking timebomb” even though the company says the line has never leaked into the straits.
The Guardian reported that Whitmer told the Canadian company, Enbridge, to shut down the pipeline known as Line 5 by Wednesday due to activist fears that it could spill any day. The pipeline has operated for nearly 67 years and, according to Enbridge, the portion of the pipeline that runs through the straights has never leaked. A different Enbridge pipeline spilled 845,000 gallons of oil into Michigan’s Kalamazoo River back in 2010.

Further, Enbridge has been “working to tunnel beneath the lake bed to further improve the safety of the pipeline,” the Guardian reported, because the pipeline has been hit in the past two years by boat anchors and cables.
“These oil pipelines in the Straits of Mackinac are a ticking timebomb, and their continued presence violates the public trust and poses a grave threat to Michigan’s environment and economy,” Whitmer’s office said in a statement regarding the pipeline.
The Guardian reported that Whitmer campaigned on shutting down this pipeline, and is now pushing for its closure even as the U.S. Department of Transportation issued an emergency declaration for 17 states and the District of Columbia following a cyberattack on the country’s largest pipeline.

As The Daily Wire’s Hank Berrien reported, the “declaration permitted fuel to be transported by road to Alabama, Arkansas, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.”
An expert told Politico that the ransomware attack that caused the Colonial Pipeline to shut down was “the most significant and successful attack on energy infrastructure we know of in the United States.” The attack “most immediately affected some of the company’s business-side computer systems — not the systems that directly run the pipelines themselves,” Politico reported, yet Colonial shut down the pipelines as a precaution while a third-party cybersecurity firm investigates.
In addition to the Department of Transportation’s declarations, four states – Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia – have issued emergency declarations over gas shortages, The Daily Wire’s Amanda Prestigiacomo reported. In addition, more than 1,000 gas stations ran out of fuel on Tuesday, The Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra reported.

“On social media, multiple videos went viral of people showing that their gas stations were out of fuel in states including Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee, and others. Some analysts said that panic buying could be playing a role in gas stations running out of fuel,” Saavedra wrote. “Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm warned that gas stations in the impacted regions of the country will likely continue to experience a ‘supply crunch’ even after the pipelines are fully operational again.”
Meanwhile, Homeland Security Advisor and Deputy National Security Advisor Dr. Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall insisted there was “not a supply shortage.”

4 States Issue States Of Emergency As Gas Outages Hit Nation On Biden’s Watch; Biden ‘Scrambling’

The governors of four states have issued state of emergency declarations as they face gas outages sparked by the Colonial Pipeline ransomware attacks.
Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia have all implemented states of emergency, “allowing state governments to activate the National Guard as needed, and helps streamline cooperation between state and local officials,” according to DW.

President Joe Biden has taken heat for his slow reaction to the attack on the U.S. pipeline. Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Tuesday night, for example, blasted the president for essentially shrugging his shoulders in response.
“This pipeline actually doesn’t touch Florida, but it does feed into many of our gas stations. So we declared a state of emergency. We’re lifting restrictions to be able to get more fuel in the pumps,” DeSantis told Fox News host Sean Hannity, according to Newsweek.
“The Biden administration needs to take this seriously,” the Republican demanded. “Their initial response is, ‘Oh, this is a private pipeline,’ and just shrug their shoulders. This is important infrastructure for our country, and it could impact our economy greatly if they don’t respond.”

Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) similarly told a Senate hearing on cybersecurity threats “that the strike on Colonial was potentially ‘the most substantial and damaging attack on U.S. critical infrastructure ever,'” DW noted.
North Carolina has been hit the hardest by the cyberattack, seeing about 14.7% of the state’s fuel stations experiencing gasoline outages, Fox Business reported Tuesday.
Virginia was hit second-hardest, with about 9.6% of the state’s fuel stations reporting gasoline outages. Georgia followed, seeing 9.4% of its stations facing shortages.
Republican Georgia Governor Brian Kemp on Tuesday suspended the gas tax in the state to ease citizens’ troubles. “Today I signed an executive order suspending the gas tax in Georgia to help with higher prices as a result of the Colonial cyber attack,” Kemp announced. “We are working closely with Colonial and expect for them to recover by the end of the week.”

According to a report from left-leaning Politico, the Biden administration “is scrambling” help states hurt by the cyberattacks:
The Biden administration is scrambling to ease the gasoline crunch that is causing scattered shortages and fears of price spikes in parts of the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast — one of the most economically and politically worrisome consequences of the cyberattack that shuttered one of the nation’s biggest fuel pipelines.
The moves, including waivers of some environmental and labor rules to ease gasoline shipments, come as the closure of the Colonial Pipeline enters its fifth day, further straining a fuel market approaching its busiest season of the year. Already, industry estimates indicate that about 8 percent of gas stations in Virginia and North Carolina are out of fuel, even if supplies nationwide are ample enough to cope with demand.

What a difference with a Real President
Biden Executive Order Follows Recent Cyberattacks : NPR

President Biden signed an executive order Wednesday boosting America's cyberdefenses following a ransomware attack on a company that operates a pipeline that provides nearly half of the gasoline and jet fuel for the country's East Coast.
The broad order, which the administration had been working on for months, aims to strengthen cybersecurity for federal networks and outline new security standards for commercial software used by both business and the public.
"Recent cybersecurity incidents such as SolarWinds, Microsoft Exchange, and the Colonial Pipeline incident are a sobering reminder that U.S. public and private sector entities increasingly face sophisticated malicious cyber activity from both nation-state actors and cyber criminals," the White House fact sheet says.
In a briefing with reporters Wednesday, a senior Biden administration official said that the order "reflects a fundamental shift in our mindset from incident response to prevention, from talking about security to doing security."
