First Joe Biden embarrassed the USA with the debacle in Afghanistan. Now he's pissed off France.

Nations have long guarded their hard won and expensive nuclear submarine technology. The USA has an uncontested right to select who they share their most secret submarine technology with on a need to know only status.

France did not need to know at the time.

Under President Biden the new submarine deal with Australia is one of the first public moves to redirect military resources that were tied up in Afghanistan to the South China Sea to counter China's aggressive military build up in the region.

I would not pay any attention to President Biden's personal poll numbers fo a couple of months. The only polls that matter are those about the President's policy objectives which get high marks during an exceptionally difficult time in American history.
