Once again you show your lack of knowledge on any subject. Obama care is only in the US. I don't have access to it.

But you said that we pay much more in the USA than Canada. We have Obamacare in the USA.

At some point, republicans are gonna have to deal with race head on and stop being scared of being called a racist.

JOY REID: RED STATES WANT BLACK PEOPLE ALIVE TO MAKE STEAKS, AND WANT TO USE N-WORD

The race for the “most embarrassing person on TV” is heating up. Chris Cuomo continues to make a strong case, Don Lemon never disappoints, but MSNBC’s Joy Reid may have just taken the lead.

Reid had quite the Wednesday night. It began when she oddly quote-tweeted a conversation to reveal a long-standing belief of hers, that people on the right are desperately looking to openly use the n-word. So much so, Reid said conservatives would trade money to use it, a lot of money:

A bold statement, “people on the right,” all of them, huh?

There are two ways to respond to such a statement, mock her or explain how chilling a remark it is. Reid spreads these lies to millions of Americans a night, many of whom believe the hate she spews. Obviously, one can’t prove something that doesn’t exist, well, doesn’t exist, but anyone with a sane mind knows this is a tiresome narrative for which there is no evidence.

For many, a tweet like that, calling half the country evil, would cause them to sign off and re-think their motives — not Joy Reid. She was far from done.

Clearly full of rage, Reid then went on her TV show, Reid Out I think they call it, to declare that red states like Texas want to re-open so that black people can get back to work, make white people steaks, and maybe die along the way.

Got that? Per Reid, if black people are not endangering themselves to serve white people in red states, the leaders want them to die.
There are intelligent conversations centered around necropolitics — none are had on MSNBC.
Who knows what Cuomo will say tonight, if Jemele Hill’s Vice show ever gets attention, or if some sucker puts insane tweeter Keith Olbermann back on TV — but for now, Joy Reid has pulled away as the worst person on TV.

Water crisis continues in Mississippi, weeks after cold snap

Mississippi’s largest city is still struggling with water problems more than two weeks after winter storms and freezing weather ravaged the system in Jackson, knocking out water for drinking and making it impossible for many to even flush their toilets.

Residents in the city of 160,000 are still being warned to boil any water that does come out of the faucets.

“I pray it comes back on,” Jackson resident Nita Smith said. “I’m not sure how much more of this we can take.”

Smith has had no water at home for nearly three weeks.

Smith is concerned about her mother who has diabetes. Her mother and most of the other older people on her street don’t drive, so Smith has been helping them get water to clean themselves and flush their toilets.

A key focus of city crews is filling the system’s water tanks to an optimal level. But, public works director Charles Williams said Wednesday that fish, tree limbs and other debris have clogged screens where water moves from a reservoir into a treatment plant. That caused pressure to drop for the entire water system.

“Today was not a good day for us,” Williams said.

He said about a fourth of Jackson’s customers remained without running water. That is more than 10,000 connections, with most serving multiple people.

City officials on Wednesday continued distributing water for flushing toilets at several pick-up points. But they’re giving no specific timeline for resolving problems. Workers continue to fix dozens of water main breaks and leaks.

The crisis has taken a toll on businesses. Jeff Good is co-owner of three Jackson restaurants, and two of them remained closed Wednesday. In a Facebook update, Good said the businesses have insurance, but he’s concerned about his employees.

“We will not be financially ruined,” Good wrote. “The spirits of our team members are my biggest concern. A true malaise and depression is setting in.”

Mississippi’s capital city is not alone in water problems. More than two weeks have passed since the cold wave shut down the main power grid in Texas, leaving millions in freezing homes, causing about 50 deaths and disabling thousands of public water systems serving those millions.

Fascinating new EV technology. I do not know if it would get regulatory approvals across North America.

"The average gasoline powered vehicle uses only 25% of the energy contained in a litre of gasoline. Much of the remaining 75% is lost to air resistance"

Re: The Shining City Upon a Hill

Joe Biden is a fucking idiot. This is a crisis of his own making. Biden rolled out the red carpet for illegal immigrants and now this is what we're facing. Illegal immigrating has jumped 300% from last year:

PS - Joe is also putting kids in cages. Where's the outrage? Liberals never cared about those kids.

Biden forced to send team to the border as child migrant influx escalates

Biden has encountered scrutiny over how his administration is treating children in its custody

President Biden has ordered senior members of his team to visit the southern border and report back to him on how to handle the recent influx of migrant children, a White House spokesman said Thursday.

News of the trip came at a critical time for the administration. As another wave of migrants approached the border, Biden encountered scrutiny over how his administration was treating children in its custody.

"President Biden has asked senior members of his team to travel to the border region in order to provide a full briefing to him on the government response to the influx of unaccompanied minors and an assessment of additional steps that can be taken to ensure the safety and care of these children," the spokesman said.

BIDEN ADMINISTRATION FACING DRAMATIC SURGE IN UNACCOMPANIED CHILDREN AT THE BORDER

"Out of safety, security, and privacy concerns the date and time of this visit will remain confidential but the White House will provide a readout of the visit once it concludes."

According to Axios, leaked Health and Human Services documents showed Customs and Border Protection referring an average of 321 children per day to the former -- a dramatic increase from the weekly average of 203 observed at the end of January.

At the end of last month, the White House faced questions over the reopening of a child migrant facility in Texas -- an apparent betrayal of then-candidate Biden's reported pledge from 2019 not to detain children.

The issue served as a central criticism of former President Trump as Biden continually decried how the former administration put "kids in cages." When confronted about the Texas facility, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki argued that "this is not kids being kept in cages."

Migrant family detention centers in Texas will be converted into rapid-processing hubs, according to The Washington Post. The Post reported Thursday that Homeland Security Department documents showed the administration intended to screen families with the goal of releasing them in the U.S. within 72 hours.

A White House official told Fox News last month that Biden's approach is to "deal with immigration comprehensively, fairly and humanely. The policy of this administration is not to expel unaccompanied children who arrive at our borders. The Border Patrol will continue to transfer unaccompanied children to the HHS Office of Refugee Resettlement so they may be properly cared for in appropriate shelters, consistent with their best interest."
