I saw a shirt the other day that said "Liberalism. Find a cure." Apparently there is one, it's called shit.

Through a petition, the people of Austin were able to get Prop B on the ballot which reinstates the camping ban that was overturned by the ultra liberal city council. The people spoke, and the ban is back. This proved to be a bipartisan effort to clean up the city which became overrun by homeless camps under bridges, in front of businesses etc. The people had enough. This just proves that when the literal shit of liberal policies hits the fan, even the most tolerant liberals have limits.

... as the cost of living skyrockets across North America, many people are forced into housing situations, not of their choice. Some choose to live in their vehicles, now referred to as Nomads, the less fortunate have to do the best they can. I suspect the homeless in Austin just moved to the next closest city or town and will gradually reappear as City resources are focussed elsewhere.

All city councils right or left leaning deal with the same issues.

Yeah thank Biden for the sky rocketing prices, and it has only started going up now that we will be dependant on Arab oil again.

... have you priced an apartment lately? Where I live the average price is $1,500.00 per month for a one bedroom. Plus parking, internet and electricity.

There is a great shortage of rental and home accomodations in North America right now made worse by the pandemic causing a shortage of lumber and record high lumber prices and for all types of building materials. The average home now costs an extra $37k to build.

The ex President's tariffs on lumber from Canada made the situation way worse than it had to be.
