How are you doing this morning, Billy? How did your town do?

I live a few blocks from Hwy. 90/beach and there was no damage to my home. In fact, we never lost power despite the wind howling throughout the night. I hopped in my car this morning and drove around town. I saw no damage at all and even Hwy 90 wasn't flooded. It's still raining and nasty out, tho.

I'm hearing that Nola took a major hit from the wind but the levees held this time. Still there's a lot of damage there. I'm curious to know the extent.

Glad to hear you did not get much damage.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I think it's supposed to make landfall in Texas and work it's way to us over land. Any time it goes over land it loses most of it's power but flooding it still a possibility.

Thanks for the heads up because I really haven't paid much attention.

Slidell, Louisiana is about a 45 minute drive from my city. During Ida a man was killed by an alligator as he walked through the flood water.

They killed the gator and found human remains inside. This gator was a freakin' monster. See below: 13 feet/500+ lbs.

I wonder, was that 500+ pounds before or after they removed the human remains?
