    2) Wind turbines hold up to but not limited to700 gallons of oil and hydraulic fluid that will need to be changed on a regular basis

You see all these things exist because of and operate on fossil fuels. Most gullible uneducated people might fall for the idea that we can basically run off of sunshine and breezes alone, but with a few trillion dollars worth of mega- batteries providing back up for a FEW minutes, the windmill could spin until it falls apart over and over again, AND WILL NEVER GENERATE AS MUCH ENERGY AS WAS INVESTED IN BUILDING IT.

And not only that, but there is not enough square inches of area on this planet to generate today's usage demands by solar panels, never mind future expansion. How about just engineering chimney scrubbers that clean the exhaust to breathable air and let it go at that?

... do you have a better plan to create clean renewable energy that can be deployed this year? Scrubbers that can be deployed on industrial smoke stacks have been around for decades.

    Re: $5.00 per gallon gas

I think this whole ecological transition thing is just a big deal for multinational corporations that need to recoup their investments in these technologies which, as others have observed, are just smoke in the eyes.
politicians around the world want to be remembered in history for those who will save the planet.
but how can you believe that in 15 years things can have changed.
this is an absolutely necessary process but it will take at least 50 years and the technologies that will allow it have yet to be created, or perhaps they already exist but not yet available to the world.
I have no illusions, I observe the facts and they do not convince me.
just to go back to the topic, the price of gasoline in Italy today is 1.91 euros per liter (7,26$ per gallon), and it is a price favored by the government which contributes about 30/50 cents per liter (who will pay them?)
not to mention gas and electricity ..

    have a nice day.

I really don't think there is a better plan. It seems to me that cleaning up the exhaust is a truly great way to go. All other proposals are falsely advertised as immediate and clean options, but all we have to do is look at the covid vaccine sales pitch to know that the whole truth is seldom made known.

Two good example are the Monolith cement plant east of Tehachapi, CA and Cal Portland cement plant southwest of Mojave, CA. At one time they were the nations #1 and #2 particulate polluters. Decades ago they installed scrubbers on their crusher stacks and were able to remove over 99.9% of their PM 2.5 emissions.

For those who don't know, cement, as mentioned here, is the very fine powder used as a binder in concrete. It is made by pulverizing a certain type of shale.

    Off topic:
Thanks reminding me. We still hand make concrete here using cement, sand, balastrra and water.
