Depending on where you live the price at the pump may have gone down in the last couple of months, but not due to anything that the current administration has done. The higher priced summer blend required by the Clean air Act in most of the country is no longer required by the federal government every year after September 15th. For some states like California it will continue to be required until the end date set by the individual state.

That is because most home electrical systems cannot 150 to 350 KW needed for Level 3 charging. Most home service entry panels are either 60 Amp or 100 Amp per leg. That is at most 2.4 KW for a a 240 volt connection. If you want Level 3 charging at home you will first need to find some who will sell you a Level 3 charging station compatible with your EV and then purchase a 350 to 500 KW 24 Volt DC diesel generator. One thing to remember when using a Level 3 charging station, if you try to charge to more than 80% you run the risk of overheating the lithium battery, causing it to explode.
