American Honda EVP Dave Gardner says Honda and Acura will roll out a full plate of gasoline and electrified vehicles, and in a market chasing an 80 percent light-truck mix the brands will remain a contrarian.
In the News in Milwaukee, warning people that there is a possibility of rolling black outs this summer!!! In the Midwest, just like good ol California! Why you say? Well they shut down plants that burn coal! While in India and China they build them. Who suffers with the idiotic twisted mindset? The general public. Stupid or what. I recently wrote an opinion piece about how the United States Postal Service (USPS) could look to solve its gas-guzzler truck problem by following Europe’s example of delivering mail with smaller electric cargo bikes. As it turns out, the postal service has already been testing this out, and the little electric mail bikes look pretty snazzy too.
Not only are they designed to carry heavy cargo loads, but they’re also built in the US by Montana-based Coaster Cycles.
The electric mail bikes are built on the Freighter AW platform, which can be modified for various types of commercial e-cargo bike applications.
Technically it’s an electric cargo tricycle, but it almost looks more like a cargo van than a bike.
The giant rear cargo box provides 72 cubic feet (over 2,000 liters) of space for mail, and the bike can hold up to 400 lb. (181 kg) of cargo. Hydraulic disc brakes help bring all of that weight to a stop quickly and safely.
Powering the bike is Bosch’s Cargo Line e-bike drive system, which supplies the rear wheels with 85 Nm of torque. The drive system is paired with a 500 Wh battery to power the mid-drive motor, though multiple batteries can likely be swapped in to extend the range. It’s not like the bike lacks space to carry a spare battery or two.

All of these clean renewables are responsible for about 90% of the electricity generated in Kenya. Kenya’s Driveelectric has shown over a year-long exercise how driving electric in Kenya is so much cheaper than driving ICE. With the transport sector responsible for 39% of CO2 emissions in Kenya, it has become critical for Kenya to accelerate the transition to electric mobility to reduce these emissions.
Facts! You want facts? How about that China has over 1000 coal plants! And planning on building 240 more and planning on to continue to build. In India they have 281 coal plants and are planning on building more than 370 coal plants! Facts? You want facts? The united States only has 241 coal plants, are continuing to close plants! You know that most of the South West and Western USA is locked in a mega drought that is unlikely to get better because of man made climate change.
Are you suggesting the USA should do nothing because of irresponsible govt's on the other side of the world?
It is a certainty that more green energy jobs are being created in the USA than were ever employed in the coal industry.
We are unable to control others, well, except for women's reproductive rights, all we can do is make changes for the better on our own.
Man made global warming. When would you say that statement will ever come to a end ?
They are shutting down a bunch of coal plants in Illinois and they are telling us to brace ourselves with rolling blackouts this summer and beyond.
