Avos. Its awesome to be living close to the export farms. Those are sub grade. About $7 for the crate!
The I grew up in used to have a cantaloupe, actually musk melon, packing shed. It was about a mile from my house and some days you could get a crate of 50 melons for as little as $0.25.

USDA’s latest data shows China owns over 191,000 acres of U.S. lands, but that was before a North Dakota land sale this Spring.

A Chinese company, Fufeng Group, recently acquired 300 acres in North Dakota for $2.6 million. According to the company, it intends to establish a milling plant. Does land owned by China pose a security risk to the U.S.?

Thanks for informing me about this. Reminds me of formaldehyde.

Its the nitrogen oxide gas and ammonia that would be the possible concern. It dissolves into water evaporates and comes down in raindrops. It is a concern just handled poorly.

If I recall from my physics class, the nitrogen molecule is heaver than the Oxygen molecule hence explaining the ratio. And, one might argue the fact but there is less oxygen molecules at higher altitudes, but this is due to the fact that there is less air pressure to "push" the oxygen molecules together.

If the fertilizer is used in just the right amount all of it gets used. It is the overuse that leads to leaching nitrogen pollutants into water runoff. Over marketing and bad implementation is the bigger problem.
    More must be better right?
