Do you have a copier at home?

Just wondering if anyone else keeps a copier at their home?

I have at home what I tell everyone at work NOT to buy----an inkjet all-in-one for about 30.00, with some laser printers as well.

I have a Mita KM-1810 that I took out of a dumpster, my wife makes about 20 copies a year on it. I upgraded a few years ago from a DC-1415.

Not a complete working machine, but enough spare parts/complete units/consumables/kits to build several machines.
2 & 1/2 car garage, my car, wifes car & 1/2 for all the copier stuff.

    --The wife loves me--

Actually, most of the time, she wants it ALL GONE!!

'Not a chance' is my reply.

I don't have a copier at home, but I once took an old key counter system home with me so I could set fire to it after years of trouble. lol
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Answer: No, but I'd like to. My wife could use one, and it'd be handy to have one that could scan documents via network using a document feeder. I'm just waiting for one of these to show up around here ready to go to the dumpster so I can get one for free.

    Why, of course.
An old Gestetner 3222 with a print controller and fax. At one time I really needed it for the fax, now my wife just wears it out printing out crap.

We used to. We kept an old Panasonic D series or a 10 series around. Now we just have a Lexmark Optra s2455.

Actually two working ones: a Mita DC-1255 and a Mita DC-1655, both in perfect working order. I'm starting a copier museum...

Those are big step up from the Mita 900D that I was using up until 1995.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
