We get $.38 per mile plus parking. Owner think's it is to much. Then they complain about us having to go to the shop to pick up parts.

drive my own car Skoda octavia VRS 2.0 diesel - get £370 allowance and paid 10p a mile from my employer. End of the financial year i claim back 30p for the first 10000 miles then 15p for anything over so i should get another £2000 - tax free from the government.

I got a ford version of this. It's a wheel chair van that has had the frame chopped and the middle lowered. Passenger seat can be removed. It works great as a install van and a service van. I can load a 70 ppm copier by my self and all my supplies sit on the back hump above the rear wheels. I can almost stand up in the van so no crawling around trying to get to things.

On my van the ride is not worth shit and when im loaded i bottom out lol

Its all shits and giggles until some body giggles and shits...

Stuff that!! we sub-contract a bunch of knuckle draggers to do all the heavy stuff, our techs arn't expected to lift anything bigger than a A4 desktop printer, we're all too old and our backs are too crook to lift anything heavier then our pay packet!!(ho-ho)

We have company vans ford bantams , our boss was so nice as to buy them with aircon and 3 of them even have radios. Company vehicles are just sooo much better than using your own i am talking from experience.

I have the sportwagon, due to being too tall for the Subaru's and I carry too much stock, so I need the bigger car anyways. The picture is not my actual car, as they are silver with a small Sharp logo on the side. Picture shown is the same model, just blue.

We had company cars from the late '70's until 1989, when we were required to drive our own. During that time I was issued a '79 Monte Carlo, an '82 Escort wagon, and an '85 Tercel hatchback.

Rumor has it that we may be getting them back again. After 20 years of driving what I want to drive, I'm not so sure I like the idea. (Rumor also has it that the cars we would be getting are covered with company advertisement - yuk!)
