Is your company using social media to get the word out there that you exist?
Do you myspace, youtube, facebook, twitter, tweet, and twat, and link in?

Not me nor my company. Like to stay away from it as long as possible. Too much security/privacy issues.

I use facebook mainly to share funny and interesting things and ideas with my friends. My wife's small shop also has a fb account and she uses it to spread the word about her services, and already had a number of customers who came through facebook, so it works, at least for small businesses.

I don't use it much......I could care less about somebody posting updates on their whereabouts, the new trick they tuaght their dog, new born baby pics (all babies are ugly to varying degrees), and so on......

MySpace still exists?? I thought that died out a couple of years ago...

We use social media to try and drive traffic to our website. I use it mainly more for informational stuff like an extension of our website blog. If you focus more on engaging with people rather than trying to sell to them using social media, it works out a bit better. It's more about building your company as a brand and authority than anything.
