    Random thought....

I went to the chemist(drug store) the other day to get some hygene items. I took the items over to the checkout.
I approached the young chemist at the counter an said to her "If there was a magnitude earthquake here today, an we were trap inside this chemist building for a month; how many of the items on these chemist shelves would keep us alive"?

She just looked at me we with a wirey smile;gave a quick laugh and said "yeah so true, that will be $31.00 thanks".

If the health food aisle at every supermarket is for healthy living, what does that make all the other food in the supermarket?

Went for a drive this afternoon (furloughed and bored) and wondered how many miles I have driven going to fix copiers over the years... I have driven the equivalent of around the world at least three times I think.

Do you ever wonder where all the copiers are now, that you fixed years ago? The machines that were the cutting edge of technology that were top dollar and are now worthless probably leaching into a landfill somewhere. Think about all the millions of copiers (maybe tens of millions) that have been manufactured and scraped and disposed of since their inception.

Kind of glad most of the Mita's I fixed in the beginning of my career are gone LOL. hope that most were recycled but back in the 90's recycling wasn't a big thing.

If you replace the "W" in Where, What and When with a "T", you answer the question!

    1000 miles/week x 52 weeks/year x 30 years = 1,560,000 miles

1.56M miles/7917.5 miles (circumference of the earth) = 197.03 trips around the earth.

    10.4 cars

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Wow BC, I'm feeling sad for you.
