    Looks like a total blast.

No Oktober is October in English but the whole Oktoberfest goes until 6th of October. Anyhow, Oktoberfest sounds better than Septemberfest, or not?

I've already been celebrating since I can't remember when.

My command of the German language is weak: even though I took three semesters of conversational German in high school in the seventies, I have never spoken or read a full sentence in German since. My fault.
Still, shouldn't it be 'O zapft ist!'? Um, if I remember correctly, "ist" is the familiar form of the words that translate to English as "is".
I guess that would depend on what the definition of the word "is" is. And that's not even lawyerspeak this time.
    Damn, this beer is empty.

You're slipping if your beer is empty; you will have to re-apply for membership!

This is Bavarian dialect. In real German the same sentence would be: " Es ist angezapft"

Now Gretchen will fill up another one and bring it to your table.....
