Newbie to SOP and looking for info

hi
I just picked up my 1st SOP installed on a low meter MPC401 SR..
I understand you must use the SOP firmware when updating it but was curious if
anyone had some documentation on what it can do.
I saw wireless and saw web browser and know it can link to a smart phone.
Just trying to get a better view of it before i place it and have to have the answers
customers will hit me with..

If the MP C401 customer has WiFi as part of their network, a smartphone cam always print through that, assuming the have the WiFi passkey. The SOP itself has 3 options available for connection, NFC, Bluetooth and low power WiFi. It will require the proper App for your smart phone.
There are both service and sales training available on the Ricoh Learning Institute.

thanks i was trying to get the bare bones to dabble in the water with these units..
I did google and youtube search but it was more a salesman type presentation...is there a package FW for these units?

Yes. Available on rfg-esource. There is also a bundle for SOP SMB v2/v3 that was released 6 months after the package.
