I’ve seen laptops on WiFi in a completely different ip range than the wired desktops.
most times wireless IS set up on a different IP scheme....

was the laptop hooked up w/ crossover cable? on some of the older units you HAD to use a crossover where the new architecture of the network channels are compensating for it.

you might even have to reboot lapper once you have the IP range set.

Printer driver is PCL6, port is a 192.168. (no universal).

Scan to PC ok, scan to lap top: no good.

    ????

If it is Windows 10 check to see if smb 1 scanning is enabled. The PDF that Francisco sent shows how to do it. I have had some windows 10 pc's work and some don't when trying to do SMB scan. An update in windows 10 seemed to disable smb 1 scanning

Have them check the adapter settings for the wireless on the laptop. File and Print Sharing might be turned off.
