SCAN TO FOLDER (MP 2554)

Guys, the customer's network allowed scan to folder through port 445 and SMB version 2/3. When I checked the configuration settings of MP 2554 and MPC 2551, the default port is 139. What should I do to change the port 139 to 445 using TELNET? How do I know if these machines are having SMB 2/3?When do we use port 139 and 445 for scanning to folder?

Update firmware to the latest versions on both models and it will switch it from port 139 to 445 automatically

I already updated the firmware of MPC 2551, but still scan to folder is not working. The customer is using public folder and it is working in MP 4055 and and MP 3055. In those machines, I can easily enabled SMB version and changed the port because it is shown in the configuration setting under SMB.. Unlike in MPC 2551 and MP 2554, i cannot find the settings in the CONFIGURATION.

There was a bug found on aug 1 about the corona series regarding 2-byte characters. Try doing the workaround suggested, under SMB -> set port to 445 and inactive.

or try this command in telnet.
msh > smb client v3 [on|off]

I believe that the MPXX55's had support for SMB V2/3 form the get-go. SMB v2/3 for the MP C2551 was released May 14 this year. If your last firmware was before that, then the C2551 does not have SMB v2/3 support. Any settings would be in system SP.
