Scan to email - not using users own email address?

Is there anyway to use the administrators email as the address that all emails appear sent from?

At the moment the user scans to themselves but the sender also shows up as from that users email address.

This is going to cause us issues with emails being seen as spoofed.

Sure... Just set the Administrator email as the default email address under your SMTP settings.

I have tried this however the email is sent from whichever user has scanned - I'm guessing this is tied into user authentication?

Machine is an MPC4504 and strangely if I use the 'Quick Scanner' option instead of the fuller 'Scanner' option this works fine?

In the address book disable Use as Sender for all senders. This forces it to use the default sender.

Ok I have unticked the 'Use name as Sender' option on all users in the address book.

I now get 'An error has occurred' when I try scanning? I have a mock address in use for the administrator and this is set to auto specify sender name on.

*UPDATE* Unticked the scanner option under user authentication management and this fixes it - ideally I would leave the code on here.
