Well... Technically they ARE, but only up to the VOIP modem. LOL!

    ...sorry, couldn't resist.

I doubt this technical bulletin is available to the public.

    Does anyone have it?

Hopefully such a request does not jeopardize the Rules Of Conduct here.

I saw this flurry of responses and thought maybe the board had been fixed, but alas I see it hasn't <heavy sigh>

    There is one small problem.

I use Sonicnet which is an ISP, Email and VOIP provider. Not a telephony company.

Though I could probably post question their user message board, the official policy is that I am on my own when setting up and diagnosing problems with a fax machine. AT&T U-Verse Voice/Internet has the exact same policy.

More...Technically.... Since Sonic's VOIP box is plugged into the port of the AT&T provided Router, I do not think it is considered a modem, but instead an ATA (Analog to Telephone Adapter). More like an intelligent D/A Converter?

Just to let you know the settings described in the doc you posted did work. Though sending at 14,400 baud certainly slows things down....but at least everything will go through without errors or dropping the connection. Even at 600dpi.
