On these old models your best option would be to book a tech to attend once they are installed he'll then advise you if any parts are required & should update the fw as part of the service.

Thank you for the suggestion! Having the printer serviced by a certified tech would have to be something that I would need to bring up with the administration at our church. But for the printer I am keeping, I probably won't have it serviced for a while, as it's a bit out of my budget, since I recently got these two printers.

Did he say it was a Catholic Church? If he did, I didn't see it. Most other churches are hurting for money, churches just don't get the support they used to.
