    PRO907 static problem

    Hi Guys

I am having trouble with a PRO907 that get build up static electricity. Running a big job the machine will give a double feed warning which stops the machine a allow you continue by ejecting the problem pages and continue with the job. The problem pages will then was ejected will then be stuck to each other because of major static. Shaking the 2 pages apart takes some effort.

Also the machine will every know and then, when working on the PCU and dev unit area, give the engineer a static shock.

    Any ideas?

The very first thing that you need to do is properly earth ground the machine. I would suggest that you hire a qualified journeyman electrician to do the grounding for you so that you don't electrocute yourself.
