    MP5002 with Booklet finisher

    Hi,

Changed the sponge rollers on the booklet finisher.
Now when I'm trying to use the staple function, I'm getting the message "remove the paper from finisher shift tray
No paper on tray, don't know what causes this, a few of this model in the field . . .

    someone?
    Thanks in advance

    Gr George

Most likely in replacing the stacking rollers, you knocked a sensor out of position.

Tray full sensor maybe. This is the sensor that signals the tray full (where stapled pages come out) it has a small feeler that touches the sensor when full.
