Wiping Hard Drives

Ok so finally got the laptop to see it, only works with usb 2.0 now which is annoying but oh well. Sorted the HDD out in Disk management after checking it over with Mini tool partition wizard first.
Put it back in the machine (I knew this would happen) it still gets stuck on Please Wait for about 10 minutes before coming up with SC 670. At that point you can't do anything and can't enter service mode either. Same thing happens if I turn it off and unplug the HDD then turn back on. I think at this point nothing will save this board no matter what I do to HDD. Lesson learned.

One questions, were there any options or JAVA applications installed on the machine that were not uninstalled?

Nothing I am aware of. No SD cards in machine, it had fax but that board was removed the whole time during all of this. Now as it won't boot up I can't be 100% sure as I can't check but top 90's
