Anyone seen where one of these units searches for a usb drive when you go to scan to email or folder and says “memory device not found” and locks up until you reboot?

what size/type thumb drive?

are you sure the port is active?

can you post config page?

Sounds like a problem with the default settings for scanning.

Try SP 5-801-009 to clear scanner app memory.

Ricoh states in the manual that ALL usb drives will not work with their equipment. In all these years I have run into 2 usb flash drives that would not work with my Ricoh units, and they were both PNG.
