Also if you client wants scan to email you can have that over USB.

This is the model I use last one I setup was in a church copier downstairs in a basement router 3 floors up no range issues.

    TP-Link TL-WA850RE N300 Universal Range Extender
Range extenders work great, and I've yet to have one fail.

I have a Brother printer hooked up at home that way, never an issue.

It prints from a Server 2016, a Windows 10 machine, 2 iPads, an iPhone, and an Android phone without a hitch.

I ended up NOT doing the extender as my own home the wireless has been real BAD..shitty optimiun crappy wireless router..
Even the guy from the provider said their routers suck??
how do these turds get away wth this..
I dont want to be free IT guy with these small accnts and when you talk computer or wireless they dont get it..
I ended up hooking it up via usb and downloaded the oldest mac driver as they had 10.10.5 and i think i used 10.11..
IT worked no issues at all.
set scan to USB thumb drive as default via program mode as finding scan to thumb drive was not on normal scan screen..
I ended up swapping my crappy cablevision router and now my wireless works w/out dropouts.......
