    Installing fax MP C6003 question

    Hello

I usually work on Toshiba's. my boss bought two of these models to refurb. I have moved the fax from one to the other. It is not being recognized. Can anyone tell me what step I may be missing?

i appreciate any help. Thank you in advance.

If by not being recognized do you mean that the option is not appearing on the function screen and the FAX button on the Normal Operational Panel does not work, that is because you have to add them. For the function screen:
    User Tools
    Edit Home
    Add Icon
    Press Fax
Press the blank screen position where you want it to appear. The Fax Icon should appear in the bos you select.
Press Exit to get out of Add Icon
As for the function buttons, if I remember correctly, it is in User Tools - System you can add if to which ever function button you wish to use. On new machines we had to assign all the function keys and affix the label.

If you had looked at the service manual you would know that the Fax Option Type M4 does not require a SD card. The firmware is embedded on the option board.

Check if your machine has a removable hard drive. The Fax Type M4 cannot be installed with the RHD.
    Aye! Cut the crap

According to the Product Support Guide, RHD is not a supported option. HDD is standard.
