    ricoh fax forwarding

i have read another post on here. but was hoping someone has figured it out now. can fax forwarding to multiple emails be setup? and if so what is the process? i have been trying with no luck. i click on add group and create it. but it doesnt show up as an option for the destination. i would think surely it could be done. otherwise what is the point of even having the group option if it does nothing. i was gonna look in the user guide. but being a new model there isnt even an user guide for download on ricohs website. thanks for any input.

Did you try selecting your "forwarding group" as the forwarding address? Saw this on the Ricoh forum.

When you created the group you did in fact add existing individual entries to the group, correct? That is, you aren't mistakenly trying to use an empty group.

Can you send a scan to this group? If you can't scan to it it won't forward either.

yes i have created the users and the group. as i mentioned then once i go to select the group it is not an option. yet i can go in and edit said group and even add a new user if needed. the group i created has 2 users in it. each user is set with that persons name and email address. though keep in mind i want to forward faxes to this group. as far as emailing multiple users at one time, no issue.

I know you want to get this working correctly, but if you're in a pinch, you can set up an email alias on their server or Gmail and forward the emails to their addresses.

yeah have thought about that one as well. though it will require a bit of working with their IT dept. was hoping to do everything on this end. but its looking more and more like that is the only option available. kinda strange that you can send to multiple users for other stuff, but are limited to just one for fax forward to email.

To avoid the I.T. dept, use a new Gmail account.
