    Re: Strange problem with Ricoh mp7500

    As Slimslob mentioned here before, you must do a PM;
    replace what needs to be replaced at these counter.
    Then you can troubleshoot further if the PM did not solved the problem.

    Check SP 5875-001. If it is set to 0 it will cause this. Change it to 1 and the service code will be displayed.

    Re: Strange problem with Ricoh mp7500

    If this occurs on mornings when you switch on the copier after rains days or weekends, the problem is humidity inside drum, a invisible layer is formed on drum by paper chemicals, toner and heat around the drum zone (donīt forget clean all filters clogged ) . Invisible layer remains humidity on drum and extend dehumidify time causing hundreds blur copies even until hours after turn on the equipment . I suggest as Konman said time ago: " Finish car polish. Polish the drum" .
    Also , you can "reduce" this problem in the future by setting sp mode 3-903-001 Drum Rotation Time Extension Mode (B140/B246 Series) to " 1 " then 3-903-002 Drum rotation Time 120~600 sec.
    Good luck

    It's possible there's a chance that the transfer belt may either be in need of replacing or some other issue affecting transfer.
