    Strange problem with Ricoh mp7500

    Hi all

I have a weird problem with a ricoh mp7500 machine. There is no code but sometimes it will print 5,000 sheets without a problem but sometimes gets stuck on every second sheet and the copy is deformed. as you can see from the pictures. To continue working I must reset it with 107 off and on. Firmware update 2 days ago still has the same problem. as you can see the text is compacted and should be a4. Or sometimes the text is twisted. The same problem is encountered when printing and copying
Please I appreciate your every opinion

    Thanks

do the tests with the door open ... check if the drum turns correctly. 107 generally restores fusing errors. Didn't you check anything inside the various units if everything is okay?

I think it's better with the door open, I haven't tested it but when I had a large print series I worked with the door open to have better cooling and I don't remember well but I think it was better. And what about the door? What can happen to the door to make trouble? Please advise me what to check in the Fusing Unit and on the drum unit, At first glance it looks like everything is fine

    Thanks

It is very strange to me that after the problem the machine printед 500,000 pages Resetting it . Whatever it was mechanically it would break down completely. And no SC Code in SC history ?

    Thanks

working with the open door is not the solution but only to see inside the paper transport phases. It's just a case that it goes well. Can you control the PM parts like drum, blade, developer, fuser rollers how many pages did they do? How many total copies does it have?

What are the PM counts, especially on the development unit. In your samples I am seeing signs of a dirty doctor blade, depleted developer and uneven developer distribution.

That is not what I asked. I asked about PM counter. If you do not know how to get the PM counters, you should not be working on the machine.

I can see pm counters but they arent real becouse they arent reseted when parts are changed. I write on paper all services that i do so drum drum blade charge corona and grid and developer are changed before 100000 copies. Fuser teflon and fingers are changed before 200 000 and stil looks fine. Transfer is checked swaped from working machine same problem. Firmware updated. Checked hard diak and everthing is ok. Tomorow i will test ram memory and dont know what to do else. Thanks

Ps. Printer / scanner sd card is type 8000 i dont know if its ok that card on mp 7500 machine.or somebody before me change it

How about clogged ozone filters, or a failing cooling fan?

Bad airflow equates to excessive heat and static.

That would explain why it performs better with the door open.

Ozone filters tend to be a VERY overlooked maintenance item.
