I have a Ricoh SP 4510sf with error code sc544-00. I replaced the fuser because the rollers were shot.
I need to get into SP mode in order to clear the error code. The manual says "To enter SP mode, see your supervisor"
Does anyone know how to enter sp mode? I appreciate any help

Method 1: Fast Start (Power Off)
Use this method to open the SP mode when you are turning the machine’s power on. This
method bypasses the warm-up time.
1)Hold down [Suspend/Resume] and [Escape] together, then turn the machine on.
2) Hold down both keys until “1. Service Menu” appears on the display.
Method 2: Normal Start (Power On)
Use this method to enter the SP mode with the machine on.
3)With the machine on, press [up arrow] [down arrow] together and hold them down for about 5 sec.
wait so you are saying that you are a ricoh tech. and know how to replace a fuser. and yet don't know how to get into service mode. i mean i'm new school ricoh tech., yet i know the old method as well.
He may be trained on the MFP's, but wound up getting a printer call. It happens... and the process is different so it's understandable.
Personally I would have MESSAGED the information rather than posting it out in the wild like this.... but that's just me.

I mean we have a lot of USERS and know nothing tech/IT that could BRICK a machine with that info.. and our site does have links to forums that outsiders (others not ON CTN yet) get access to.
please keep this type info restricted to PM's in the future.
Next time I'll be more careful, I'll help you with private messages regarding access to the service mode and things like that
SP 4510sf is an MFP, not a printer.
