It's really not designed to be emptied. I always replace them, P/N is M0226400. If you want to try, knock yourself out. And be prepared to make a huge mess. The largest hole on the end is the only one large enough to let any amount out to do any good.

I always used my service vacuum. The attachment with the long roughly half inch diameter tube fits nicely into the largest hole. Takes some time but it does work. To save time in the customers office you might want to buy one spare bottle and let your shop rebuild tech vacuum them.
The large hole has a Sponge and on top plastic cover.
Do I have to remove the plastic on the sponge and empty the waste toner or what?
Does toner spill out of the hole? Yes of course it does. Then if you're determined to do it yourself, then do what you have to do to get the toner out. Period.
IT WILL BE MESSY.
PROCEED ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. CTN ADVISERS WILL ASSUME NO LIABILITY FOR THE OUTCOME
Don't empty it in a room with a carpet, do it on a tile floor, much easier to clean up. Don't use your household or office vacuum cleaner.
If it works, don't touch it.
oh the fun one might have if using the wrong vacuum lol. i have personally never seen it, but have been told the possible effects of not having the correct vacuum to remove toner. i even try to let my customers know the possible effects if it's a major spill and you try to vacuum. for some reason they don't seen to find it amusing? lol
This is one of the things you can expect if you try to empty a waste toner bottle that's not DESIGNED to be emptied!! Use extreme caution.... and a "Technician" vacuum with a sealed filter, otherwise you're going to be out of pocket for repainting someone's office!
