    MPC8002 Doc feed issue

    MPC8002 doc feeder will almost alway pull two sheets if there is only 3 or 4 sheets to be copied, but when you put in 5 or more say 50 its runs no problem..
    ive changed the little rubber pad under the sep roller, the sep roller,seproller reverse clutch, cleaned sensors, still cant seem to nail this down, anyone have any ideas?

    The Unidirectional clutches (bearings)in the adf are a known problems on this machine. Make sure they are clean well and lubricated!

    I have had customers use Ink jet paper and that always takes more than one, Have you tried fresh paper off your own?

    well yes now that you mention it, when i test it i use the paper in the machine, HMmmmm good question
    i will look into that, is there a fix? or no

    hmmm, he really can’t ask the customers to copy other originals

    2 thing will help with this. There is a new firmware update for the adf that addresses DF jam 63, which is double feeding. and also there is a pad on the front edge of the lower plate that has the cutout for the lower separation roller. I just replace that guide assembly.

    That is for the C**04 range.

    The modification and firmwares are for all the current single-pass df even in some PRO MACHINES.
