    mpc3002 double sided wrinkles

    Hello:

I am going to open a new case since you have told me that the previous one was very old.
I have always had problems with several teams in this series.
Sometimes it has been the comb of the transfer roller, other times it has been the film, in that case I have always changed film plus depression roller
I have no problem with one face.
But double-sided in printer mode and when the equipment wants it forms a wrinkle, a symptom similar to swollen pressure rollers in a range of old equipment, in copier mode I have never seen it but I cannot assure it does not come out.
I have exchanged fixing units and the equipment that goes wrong continues to fail, while the one that goes well does not give problems, I have taken paper from one place to another, transfer sets, bands and always with the same result.
I have seen newsletters that talked about increasing the speed of fixation that I have also done but I do not find the problem.
I have also tried to run the device with drivers of another model and nothing has been fixed
The last thing has been, a team that has never failed me and has always worked double-sided, I took it to a client whose machine has given problems, because the first impression that is done on both sides goes and removes the wrinkle.
I think it has to do with the combination of humidity and temperature in the place where the equipment is installed.

Some of you would know if I can vary the temperature and humidity values.

    Thanks in advance.

    sorry
you can see the firmware is updated to the latest versions,
The problem occurs in all paper trays and normal 80gr paper is used.
The film and the pressure roller controlled 10,000 pages
The team will have 60,000 b & w pages and 10,000 color pages
    Clean laser and band too
The client's role took me to another machine and it doesn't give problems
You have already indicated that a team from another customer and that has never failed to take this customer to the first has failed.

what is this "team" you keep referring to?

your terminology is hard to define

    did you rebuild fuser?
is there build-up on fuser inlet guide?
" client's role took me to another" WTF are you trying to say?
does it do it on simplex runs?
    have you cleaned/replaced duplex section?

    are you a newbie tech?
lines/wrinkles/jams are 'Copier Tech 101' issues.

Since you think that the problem might have to do with humidity, have you tried installing the Anti-Condensation Heaters Type A? This option is provided as a service part.

    Re: mpc3002 double sided wrinkles

I am not a novice technician, I have 30 years of experience in Ricoh, but it is true that I have not had access to the courses for 10 years.
although I do have access to the manuals.

For me, the problem has to do with environmental conditions.
I have not put any heater since as I said a mpc2051 works well and that is next to the mpc3002
I am currently playing with sp2302-2 to see if there is any improvement.

Have you examined the copies to determine if the wrinkling occurs before or after the PTR? You may have a warped exit guide on the duplex unit.

from the look of your sample i would rule out the fuser as the wording in the crease looks fine or does the toner rub off in the wrinkle

This looks to me like the front side that as you have said there is not a problem with single sided. Can you send images of both sides of the crease?
