Using Lanier MP 407 as a defacto fax server

We have a client who just purchased a Lanier MP 407 and wants to use it as a defacto fax server. So basically all of their machines would be able to fax with only this one actually being connected to a fax line. No one in our company has ever done this before and I can't find any instructional videos or anything on setting this up. We were able to get some very vague instructions from Ricoh which states, in one section that you have to have a fax card for only the main fax (the new 407) but then in another section it appears to say that all machines must have a fax card. The instructions we found are very confusing. I was just wondering if anyone has done this and if they could explain it more clearly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The main machine should have the Fax Option (Fax Interface) while the other machines should have the Fax Connection Unit (SD CARD).
    Aye! Cut the crap
