But, i need to know.
How to set up a multifunction device or application to send email using Office 365 | Microsoft Docs
Is the link for how to...
But, it's language is English and it seems there is no translation to Dutch on the internet.
"Kitchen English" is no problem for me, but this level is to high.
My question: stunnel, is this a software thing happening via a provider, or is it just a programmation af a pc host?
Is it hard to set up for a dummie like me?
Can you throw me - just a little - bone?

First of all you need depends on organisation policies a o365 licence and a account for the mfp device to have the rights to access the mailserver. Further it's a configuration issue around the o365 server to give access rights to the mfp device.

Forgotten to mention that it is concerning old models that are not compatible with office.365.

for security reasons, port 25 is discontinued by the exchange admins due to lack of security.
SSL and TLS that uses 465 and 587 are the ones supported by newer machines.
For older models who does not support them, we recommend replacing them with newer versions.
If the customer disagrees, I give them a different option. Some open sourced online SMTP that supports 25 and 2525 or create a local smtp relay that supports port 25.

Stunnel is a programme that you can download and run on any PC or server as it works with both Linux and Windows.

I generally use it on a server or some other kind of system that never gets turned off so that there's little risk of it not being on when people need it.
You set the MFP to use the IP or name of the system with Stunnel installed as the SMTP server, using port 25. Stunnel then re-routes the email to O365 using the correct security settings, which are set in a configuration file that it uses.

The Microsoft article gets into much more detail than you really need.

Our mgmt no longer allows stunnel. Customer needs to upgrade. I did a couple back in the day. Works ok. It takes cleartext (port 25) and encrypts it and sends out port 465 or 587.
