For purposes of conversation on these, my guess is perhaps a HDD issue. I have had 2050's give me long start ups, long waits, SC 672 and have it be a HDD. I have heard it could be memory, but have never had that happen first hand. The key with this particular series is to simplify as much as possible (IE, disconnect HDD, fax, etc) and see if you can get it to come up. The processor is weak on this machine and likes to code if the wind is blowing the wrong way or if it is a even day on a odd week with a full moon.
