    Ricoh C901s

    Hello,

    Can someone please help.

    I have a custoer with a Ricoh C901s giving the code sc367.

The Service manual give this cause...
An abnormal condition is detected when output of one of the TD sensors fails to
fall within the range of 0.5V to 4.5V.

I followed the instructions in the service manual and ran a...
    SP3820

    Then Checked with...
    SP3821

The result was 99999999, the doors were closed

The machine said that the sp was complete although it kept running and saying something like self checking in the bottom left corner of the display.

Can someone pleas help me see what im missing or if there is a common cause to this?

    Thank you in advanced!

Did you lookup in the service manual what 99 failure code indicates? Assuming you did not, it means Forced Termination. Something occurred that prevented Process Control to complete running. Door open, power off, or other problem interfering with process control self-check.

You could have a flaky door switch. A high SP7504-001 jam count would confirm this.

I am now getting a sc333. I've vacuumed the cyan toner tube, I made certain the toner bottle spins as well as the toner pump clutch engages. Any thoughts? Should i replace the developer? The customer apparently put after market toner in the machine.
