MPC8002 pulling two sheets

okay the solution to the doc feeder on the mpc 8002 pulling two sheets only when feeding 2-3-4-pieces of paper is this
see photos, i dont know what exactly its supposed to do,it fits in roght above the pick up unit where that blck void is in photo 2 , but it was keeping the pickup feed unit from lifting up all the way causing two sheets to be pulled in every time when copying only 2,3,4 pieces all good now works like a champ!

What you have is the Pressure Pickup Plate, Bracket and spring. Its purpose is to insure sufficient feed pressure on the pickup roller. If the feed assembly is not being lifted high enough between sheets, I suggest that you check the Pickup Roller Rise Lever is installed properly and its operating cam is working properly.
