I'm geting problem to repair error code sc531 on ricoh mp c4501 I have change all three fan bet the code still came up after making some few copy.when I just on the copier I can copy up to 150 duplex copy bet when it get hot the error sc531 came up.when I off the copier and on the code disappears when try to copy the code cames up again.please I need help to solve this error.Thanks in advance.

I have change the front left the right back and the small motor fan under the front left hand.

Left hand or right hand. The normal use is your left and right as you stand in front looking at the machine. There are 2 fans that circulate air over the fusing. One is the high speed sirocco fan on the upper right that blows air into the front of the fusing unit cavity. The other is the fusing exhaust fan. It is located near lower right rear at the bottom of the plastic ducting in back of the IH inverter board.

A lot of times both those thin filters are clogged and both impede air flow,and they sit near the laser unit so i like that area to have good cool air...
Maybe it does or doesnt relate to the laser board from overheating with the sc 101 codes over time..
I rather be safe.

I change the 2 fan standing in front right and the 2 fan standing behind left and the code keep caming up after 1 or 2 copy.done know what to do now.please any other way.

There are 2 fans that circulate air over the fusing. One is the high speed sirocco fan on the upper right that blows air into the front of the fusing unit cavity.

I have had this one fail multiple times. The fan blades actually break causing abnormally high temps in the fuser area. This will also cause IH coil failure.

That's a really old sticker, but it has our name and number on it. I haven't worked on a Nashuatec in like 20 or 25 years.
