    Ricoh mp 6002

    I'm getting 320-01 in combination with 380-21 code. done a pm code pops every 500 copies or so. Any one seen this? Tia

    Right off the bat, check to see that you plugged in the connectors for the dev unit, and the connector for the pcu. If they are OK, you will need to remove the drum unit and dev unit for inspection to see what was messed up during the pm. Initialize the ID sensor. If you have not run developer set, force a toner supply until the prints look good, then set developer (SP2801). The machine can still run with a bad TD sensor if you set the toner supply mode to pixel count, but it will overtone in this mode if left on too long.

    Trouble shooting portion of the service manual for both service call codes lists "Development power pack defective" as a possible cause.

    I found this on another site, good luck.

    "We replaced the black plastic "bracket" pn B065-1137 which houses the drum shaft support bearing which provides grounding. We believe the dielectric grease in the bearing was not conducting properly. Also replaced the copper electrode plates to the development bias board."
