Get out of SP mode you need to log on to user tools as admin to delete users.

If all you are wanting to do is clear out all existing address book entries, SP 5846-050 Initialize All Addr Book.

I always go into factory service mode and use 5-846-46. Power off. then reset passwords at initial screen. This also deletes user address book data.
