    Exclamation help ...ricoh aficio sp100 not printing

    it shows blue light but when i give print command it does not print.this happened after when i tried to update firmware.please help

    was the update successful?

    have you tried to use ctl panel to find out error and/or code?

    do motors spin?

    hard to diagnose with such little info.

    are you a tech or enduser?

    update was sucessful but it doesnot show engine firmware version.service mode doesnot show sc code.i dont think motor spins...it does not make any noise neither it warms.sc mode doesnot show any serial no. and alli am an end user..bt i deal with repairing computers and all.

    hire a trained Ricoh tech

    just because you do IT shit doesn't mean you are capable to repair copiers...

    you very well might have bricked this machine...

    how did you flash the new firmware...

    did you get the newest version?

    the proper firmware for your unit?

    did you try and do a batch upgrade ?

    or did you do one module at a time?

    did you follow SM procedure COMPLETELY?

    again sketchy info...

    even an IT tech has procedures and the have to be followed in sequential order

    for you see MOST of us have handled computers/networking issues for years!

    what certs do you hold in the IT world?
