    Re: "OCR detection Processing"

    From what you described it doesn't sound you put much job in this.
    Check if problem machine default ocr settings match one that works. As others said update FW to the latest. Optional OCR unit may have problems, try to swap both OCR units if possible.
    Last resort is always to reset machine.

    @anothertech
    Yep others already told me this. I will do so, thank you.

    I m not a ricoh Technician. I m not familiar with any Ricoh system. When i call the support, i dont get helpful answers. How can i spend energy in this case?
    I Searched the settings for anything which has to do with scan or OCR, but could not find something.
    Network is set to gigabit
    I know that reset the Maschine could help, but before doing this, i search for other chances.

    How can i set another Resolution as standard for scan jobs?

    I thought that this Message in the Display is a common message and senior ricoh technicans can tell me like "oh yeah thats a typical error. Please check this and that" i had no clue, that this is such a problem.

    First press reset, then set the resolution to 300, then press the program button, select program as defaults, then answer yes, then press program.

    Read the Operators Manual. It is a user function.

    Here's a link for all user guides @ ricoh
    IM C3000/C3500 download page

    Also in interface settings check the speed is set to auto detect if change by it to 100mb or 1gb could be a problem
