Our library director had been handling maintenance and maintenance requests on the copier because it was here before I started. I handle the maintenance for the other tech and I will be taking over the copier now so that I can keep up with the records and maintenance. I really appreciate all the help. I know zilch about copiers.
That is totally unacceptable. You need to contact Ricoh and tell them that you are not happy with the service you are currently receiving and request the name of a different dealer or branch in your area. There might even be some here that could help but just Moro without the state name is not much help as to where you are located.

If you have a friend who is an attorney you might want to talk to him/her as well. If you have been paying for a maintenance contract, they are not fulfilling their obligations to you, i.e. breech of contract.

Talk to the service manger at the dealer and ask for a senior technician or technical Specialist also when and if they replace the drum. Make sure all other parts are replaced within the pcu

    Good luck

We are in Moro, Oregon, population about 300, the county population is about 1700. The closest larger town has 12K people, it is 40 miles away. The next closest is Portland, Oregon and it is 140 miles away. I think that this Ricoh tech is the only one in the area, I know he services quite a large part of the Columbia River Gorge. We constantly have problems with service because of our location, everything from service contracts to contractors. I just spoke with the school secretary to find out if they are given maintenance records or receive any preventative maintenance. They only see him when they have a problem and the jamming problem with their largest printer isn't being fixed after several calls.

Below is the URL for submitting a contact request to Ricoh customer relations. Ricoh does not like unhappy customers and it sounds like where you live there are multiple unhappy customers. Let them know the trouble you are having getting quality service.
