Ricoh MPC4503 with Bridge Unit and SR3140 torn edge and wrinkling

Hello, I’m getting a small tear and wrinkling in one in maybe thirty or forty sheets of paper. So far I’ve replaced the heat sleeve, press roller, transfer roller assembly and drive unit for the feed units with no luck. Any ideas will be appreciated. The copy paper being used is Quill 20lbs.

Since you included the finisher type in the post title, I have to ask. Have you disconnected the finisher and tried printing without it? If all is good, then you may have to adjust the angle of the finisher entrance guide. They get bent easily and will cause misfeeds.

Yes I ran a fresh ream of paper, however I will go back with a different brand and see if it makes a difference.

The only tray that gives any trouble is the first tray which is letter long edge feed only. I ran it without the bridge and finisher with a small amount of wrinkling but no tear in the paper edge.

Yes all OEM parts have been replaced. It's just uncommon maybe two or three out of a ream will be damaged.

If only happens on tray one would of been good to see some samples but could be feed rollers and limiter
