    Device certificate woes

We have a few customers that are using airprint. We create a device certificate to enable this. The machines now load their web pages in https, but as insecure. What are the options for using valid certificates. This is outside of my normal scope, I can find references to certificates but they all seem to be tied to domains that are internet able.

What is the model MFP you are working on?

Are you an authorized Ricoh customer engineer? If so, you should be able to find something on Knowledge Base to help.

If you are not authorized, you can really screw up the machine screwing around with certificates.

The most current machine was a C2503

Never heard the term customer engineer before. I am a Ricoh trained technician(even on this model). I no longer work for a Ricoh dealer.

I also have never seen a machine that has been screwed up with certificates, especially when they are user accessible settings.

The proper term for technician. In fact it is the title used in the employment contract for those that work for a direct branch, union thing. Also applies to dealers but unless the dealer is unionized (boo) most techs don't know it.

Apparently you have never encountered "Error 404 Page not found" when trying to access WIM after someone has tried to create a device certificate.
