Savin/Ricoh MP C3333 SC 492

I've got kind of a weird problem. It started out as a yellow toner end/bad toner pump problem. I put in a cyan pump, it was what I had, and that resolved the no yellow toner problem. After that I went to do ACC and my chart printed out had black, some magenta but no cyan or yellow. Removed pcu's and they all had toner in the hoppers. The SMC says I am getting sc 492s. I can print out the chart on the ACC 1st will come out bad, immediately do another and it comes out perfect. Print out another, its bad. Like every other one. I swapped out the ITB unit, replaced the H.V.P.S. with new one. Still the same. The customer came in overnight and printed say 10 color prints from computer, 1st 5 were good then next 5 no color. Also I had put in new paper transfer roller. There is no problems with B/W copies/prints. Any ideas? I have looked at the contacts for ITB and don't see anything abnormal.

Mpc3333 never heard of that machine quote correct machine and if you have samples would help

The C3333 is a little brother to the C5000.

Can't wait to see a MPC3333 I think you mean mpc3300 best to know your machines 1st sc492 is a transfer assy problem still good to post samples we would help the guys out a bit more.

You may have a problem with the laser shutter. Or the lift for the color transfer rollers. Considering that the MP C3300 launched 10/14/2008 you might be better off to replace the dinosaur. The need repair parts might not be available.

Also check white grounding cables at rear of itb assy we've had a couple wire's shorting out giving funny codes

I guess that's possible but wouldn't I be getting a SC for that. Also, I know my machine, I installed it new and have been working on it for 11 years.

As stated 2 different ITB units. Its weird that it happened after replacing toner pump.
