Hi all!
I have a Ricoh MPC8002, the Fiery stop working a few days ago and I had no other option than buying a E22C. Is there a way to reconfigure a Fiery E22C to use it in the 8002?

Why would you need a Fiery with an office machine.
The E22C might be a slower processor. It is intended 30 to 60 ppm models. The E22B is for 65 and 80 PPM models.
EFI customer release notes are the same for both.
EFI Productivity pack is the same for both.
If the installation disk set is the same, go for it. If they are different, I would try using the E22B on the E22C as the Fiery application software may communicate with the MFP and request model information to determine compatibility.

My question is what is wrong with the old Fiery? We have replaced everything in these like power supplies, fans, memory etc. I am not 100% on this but I think Hytec even sells motherboard replacements. I've never replaced a MB personally, but I did do a google of the motherboard and they are available online resonably priced. For the most part I have seen the fierys are just basically dell computers. I've heard said that Fiery "locks" the motherboards so you've got to buy their MB. I haven't, but I bet someone on the forum has just put in a standard motherboard as a replacement.
I've proved mathematics wrong. 1 + 1 doesn't always equal 2.........
