No. it does not go where the jumper is. It goes on the other connector. If you check the service manual on replacing the fusing film, it tells you which pins and which connector it goes in. If you manually reset the fuser count, you should not need the fuse anyway.

Oh, I thought The fuse is for resetting when it has over heat SC code ..?
Didn't know it just for the counter..??
    BTW.. I don't have manual .. yet ..!!

There was one code in color machine that needed fuse to get to "level 2 reset". I suppose this one could be the same but have not yet run across needing it. A good reason to hang on to fuses in case that day ever does come I suppose.

To clarify, if you are replacing the fusing unit because of a SC error code you need the fuse. If you are replacing as part of preventive maintenance, you do not. In either case you do need to reset the associated PM counter(s).

If you have a service manual, it is clearly illustrated with pictures. If you do not have a service manual, you should not be working on the equipment.

It is a 2 pin connector inside the fuser. It is typically on the plastic piece where the plug that goes into the machine is and where the rest of the harness goes along. It most likely has nothing plugged into it at the moment or it may have a fuse in it already.

As Slim mentioned, you should not need the fuse unless the machine is in a coded condition.

You only need to use fuse for SC544
