Sounds like you either did not download the proper Pro C5200 PCL6 driver or you are not using the bypass tray. Here is a link to the proper download page. The PCL6 driver that is listed first is the one to use.

    Re: Ricoh Pro C5100S Driver

GW Controller does not support banner printing. Only Controllers: E-22B/E-42B ( TSB 026 )

Bypass Length setting ( SP 5150 ) to " 1 " . Normally the paper length for sub scanning paper from the by-pass tray is limited to 600 mm, but this can be extended with this SP to 1260 mm.

    1. Set t he SP5-150-001(01)
    2. Change the "Bypass Tray Priority" setting of Fiery controller (E-22B/E-42B) to "Panel Setting".
    3. While the Fiery controller is powered on and connected to the print engine, from the Operation Panel of print engine, register the (printer) tray paper settings: Bypass Tray.
    4. In the printer driver, select "Bypass Tray" as input tray, and specify the paper size (Custom...):

Banner papers cannot be registered as custom paper.

    Re: Ricoh Pro C5100S Driver

I may be treading in an area that I have no business being in.
I have no experience with a machine at this level, but it seems to me that Terramobil was correct in pointing out that the brochure clearly states that the max length is 487mm specifically on that model, and the issue you have is that you're using the Universal driver which has also been pointed out is not ideal.
That driver will show features and functions that aren't necessarily available on the model you're using.
Example: I just installed the Universal driver for an old SP C430 printer I have here (which is just a mid level colour printer), and it shows the custom paper size up to 1260mm which most certainly isn't possible!
If you download and install the proper PCL6 driver for your machine (which I did) the maximum size available in properties is 487mm
